Hyde Park Shawl

Named after the serpentine at Hyde Park (thank you to a Ravelry fan for suggesting the name). This is a center-out shawl with a garter body and the lacy edging knit sideways connecting to the body as you go, so it’s knit all in one piece and no seaming!

Eternal Spring Shawl

I named this shawl because today (and the past few days) it’s been about 70 degrees and sunny here (IN FEBRUARY!!!). Really, the whole winter has been sunny aside from a few days of rain, but now it’s warm as well! Anyway, today it’s beautiful and spring-like out, hence my naming this shawl – the color (the Feb Barking Dog Yarns sock club color) also had something to do with it. 🙂

This shawl is part garter and part lace, the lace portion is written in three charts, which increases worked into it. The lace pattern is worked on both the right and wrong sides, and there’s a picot bind-off edging.

Pattern takes one skein of sock yarn on size 6 US circular needles.

This shawl is kitty approved, but handsome tuxedo boy cat not included.
